blackribbon.jpg We are sad to find out that J’s Aunt and Duncan’s Great Aunt Myrtice Hicks of Miami, FL has passed away after suffering from an acute illness.  We say “goodbye” knowing and grateful that she enriched the lives of everyone she came into contact with.  She will be dearly missed.

Sean and Duncan enjoy a light moment.  Sean is at 26 weeks now and we are in fullswing preparations for welcoming Baby girl to the family in late April. We do not have a name picked out yet!  A project that I’m sure we will have  completed by April.  We are planing what we are describing as a “celebrate the last time we will ever do this baby thing again party” sometime before April 15.  Otherwise, all is well.  Life is busy, but we did want to send warm thoughts to our Aunt’s Marilyn and Myrtice, and Uncle Jima. We are thinking of you and wish you the best of health!  We also want to wish our cousin Michelle a HAPPY BIRTHDAY on the 5th!

CHRISTMAS 2009

January 5th, 2010

deckwinterstorm-12-19-09-900.JPGdec192009.jpgWe haven’t seen snowfall like this in quite a while. Here’s outside our home and outside the most famous home in America.  Dec 19 broke a 70 year long record as the most snowfall in a single day in the month of December.  For us, 13-17 inches!  And just in time for CHRISTMAS!

We had a wonderful Holiday Season with family and friends. More pictures will follow soon. We were so busy with holiday entertaining and playing Santa, we are just now able to start catching up to the new year.  We thank everyone who sent us cards and gifts and Christmas goodies.  We feel so blessed to have all of you in our lives.
