We have all been in situations dealing with a product we have purchased or during consumer relations where we would love to give a SHOUT OUT to the outstanding service or product we received or a big SHAME ON You!! to the bad service or unsatisfactory feelings we have.

1: DON the DOCENT(TOUR GUIDE) AT WOODLAWN PLANTATION near Mount Vernon: CHEERS!!!! He may have been a couple of minutes late opening the home during my visit there early one steamy morning this August, but when he got started he really gave his 100% on giving a great tour!! August 24, 2007
2: THE CRACKER BARREL in Dumfries, VA on 95 South just past Potomac Mills: CHEERS!!!!! If you have never been to a Cracker Barrel it’s probably only because you’re not close to one. Southern style Breakfast at it’s best!! You have to check out the Cheese hash-browns!!!!!! Here’s the link to find locations near you. The Dumfries,VA is the one we visited. 3: DEL MONTE: Fruit&Gel cups: CHEERS!!!!!! So you can make your own gelatin with fruit and get more for your buck….but this is a quick way to pack and go and it’s delicious!!!!
4: THE MAGIC GOURDE Chinese Restaurant: CHEERS!!!! This lil gem in a section of shops called Columbia Plaza in D.C. ( near the State Department and South of GWU Hospital) has been a favorite of ours! http://www.dcmenus.com/menus/magicgourd.html
Their meat dumplings are big and meaty! My favorite dish: Cleopatra’s Chicken ( chicken pieces in a sweet and ginger sauce with big slices of ginger and tomato). Service is great! Ask for Winnie!!! Sept. 11, 2007
5: CAPTIAN WARD of the Dandy Restaurant Cruises( www.dandydinnerboat.com) CHEERS!!!!! He is as any well knowledged historian an ODDBALL!! but with a wealth of not too known historical tid-bits about the history of Washington D.C.
6: BAR-B-BAR’s CARIBBEAN CALYPSO ISLAND HOPPIN BBQ Sauce &Dip! CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you like hot with taste and seasoning look no other than this sauce. Sean and I love Hot Sauces. Sean can take the hottest you’ve got. I on the other hand am physically challenged in the degree of hottest . But I won’t skimp on flavor. This is the only sauce I have only had to use JUST THE SAUCE for my recipe. Usually, I add other sauces and flavors…but there’s nothing needed to be added to this one. NOTHING!! Believe me I tried and it only took away from the taste. Enjoy! DEC. 7, 2007
7: THE SPIRIT OF WASHINGTION CRUISE SHIP: CHEERS!!!!!!! Sean and I were fortunate to ride onboard the Spirit of Washington on the Potomac River for a business Christmas party. The Spirit of Washington is just one of the ships offered by various companies that cruise along the Potomac River. We have been on the Nina’s Dandy which is like the poor hillbilly cousin compared to the Spirit of Washington. http://www.spiritofwashington.com/dc/bridge.jsp

JEERS. Shame on them for the making of thier cage door. Theres no real way to assure that it stays closed. It just snaps and then there’s nothing to hold it. Our Hamster has escaped twice cause we cant find anything to put on the door that precious cant find a way to take off. Take some more time to think about it crittertrail.
